6 ways to style a LBD (little black dress) for spring!

Today I've got another fun 6 ways to style post for you! So far I've styled up leggings, a graphic tee, a moto jacket, a chambray shirt and a t-shirt dress six ways here on the blog. If you ever need ANY outfit ideas... you can see the entire archive of the '6 ways to style' posts here!

Today I am styling up this little black dress six ways!  This dress isn't new to the blog... you've seen it here in grey and here in black. The long sleeve version of the dress was even part of my Holiday Capsule Collection - so this dress gets some serious play-time in my wardrobe. It's such a classic piece! It's really comfortable, super flattering and it's a great price too. Plus it's available in TONS of colors... I love the pink and navy for spring too!

The reason I wanted to style up this dress is because it's so versatile and fun for spring and summer and it's a great foundation for any type of outfit. As you will see you can easily dress it up or down depending on your mood or where you are headed.  Since it's such a great closet staple it's the ideal candidate to get styled up six ways here.  So let's jump in! Don't forget to head over to my IGTV today too to see the outfits in action!

Let's take a look at the outfits...

Outfit 1 (above)
If you are looking for an outfit to wear to the office or for meetings around town I love this dress paired with a trench coat for spring.  I paired a bucket bag and some pointy flats and it's professional and pulled together while still being comfortable. (shop the pieces: dress, similar trench, similar bag, flats)

Outfit 2 (above)
This combo of a blazer and the black dress is another great work option for spring. It's perfect for a casual Friday or a more creative office environment.  Paired with nude accessories it's classic and chic while being really easy to pull together. (shop the pieces: dress, similar blazer, similar tote, similar heels)

Outfit 3 (above)
This sweater blazer and dress paring would work for a more relaxed office environment but I also love it for meeting friends for lunch, a day date or even Sunday brunch.  The sweater blazer is the perfect layer for outdoor dining where it might be chilly but the sun is warm. I love it paired with mules and a rope embellished clutch. It's very modern while still being comfortable and approachable. (shop the pieces: dress, sweater blazer, mules, clutch)

Outfit 4 (above)
This look is probably my favorite way to wear this dress... easy and breezy with a denim jacket. I wear my denim jacket(s) non-stop for spring and summer and this easy look is perfect for a date, running around with the kids (if you want to look super cute!) or heading out for a girls night. (shop the pieces: dress, sandals, denim jacket, basket clutch or less expensive option)

Outfit 5 (above)
For an edgier but still casual look I love this dress paired with sneakers and a moto jacket.  This would be a fun look for a concert, a date night or even a Bachelorette party.  It's fun and sassy while still being super easy to wear. (shop the pieces: dress, moto jacket, sneakers or super cute less expensive option)

Outfit 6 (above)
Simple and classic is what this look is all about!  Spring basics like a utility jacket and espadrilles are perfect to pair with this black dress. I snagged this cute tortoise basket clutch last fall and it's back in stock this season too (in some extra cute colors too!).  This look is perfect for patio dining, an ice cream date or the farmers market. (shop the pieces: dress, utility jacket, tortoise clutch, espadrilles)

So do tell! Which look is your favorite? Which is most your style? I'm curious to know!
