monday must-haves pt 5

Today's Monday Must-Haves are ALL about SUMMER!  Summer is finally here ladies and I couldn't be more ready.  I hope you are enjoying your long weekend with friends and family this weekend. And maybe shopping a few of the awesome sales too...

Today picks are so fun and absolutely summer ready... this adorable tote is perfect for loading up with  snacks, books and sunscreen and heading to the park.  I always love a good pair of flip flops and a vacation, these palm tree flip flops are a vacation for your feet.  And how about this striped dress ladies? Ombre!? So so cute.  Plus, I'm hoping to set up a little badminton court in our lawn for the kiddos (okay, and for me too!) and this set is darling.  (good life fun fact - I broke my nose playing badminton in gym in high school - the horrors!) And finally I can't wait to dig into the book "Eligible"  - it seems like everyone is talking about it and I'm a huge Pride & Prejudice fan.

monday must haves pt 4

I've got the best news you've heard in a while...

This coming weekend is Memorial Day Weekend!  Hip hip hooray!  The un-official/official start of summer is just days away and I couldn't be more excited.  For today's must-haves I rounded up all the summer essentials you will need to kick off the summer in style!

I am always looking for a new tote, especially right before summer.  I need to be able to carry a book, water bottles, towels, and plenty of sunscreen with me almost around the clock.  This tote is super classic and the perfect size for summer!

I am completely obsessed with this gorgeous ROUND beach towel for summer.  Seriously, how fun is this?

gold sandals (or I love these too!)

Happy Monday friends! How are you all pretty ladies doing? Today I have another installment of my Monday Must-Haves for you and this is one I am super excited about.  For this round up I featured a few items I have recently snagged and LOVED and can't wait to wear this spring, and then a few items that I am wish listing for spring.  Whatever your style or budget there will be something for you to love here today...

racerback bralette (or I love this version too)

This bralette is so beautiful and it looks ultra comfortable as well.  It would be perfect for under tees and tanks this spring.  

fitted t-shirt dress

I bought this dress last year in stripes and this year I just snagged it in black.  It's SO comfortable and flattering (I love that it's not too short) AND it's UNDER $20.  So it's pretty much a win-win-win. I plan on wearing this a ton this summer.

skinny jeans (or the splurge version)

If you are looking for a high waisted stretchy jean that is ultra flattering AND on a budget - these are the jeans for you.  They remind me of my favorite jeans but for less of an investment.  And I love the open hem.  These jeans are a super winner.  I've been wearing them non-stop since I bought them.

pom pom tee (or in stripes!)

Pom poms are all the rage these days and I'll admit it, they are just so darn cute.  This tee is on my wishlist for spring, I love it's whimsical summer vibe. 

saddle bag (or this navy bag is gorgeous too!)

This navy saddle bag is really calling my name lately. I've come across it a few times online and each time I fall in love again.  This past weekend I "tried it on" at Nordstrom and ladies, it's gorgeous!  I love it's minimalistic lines and navy is so perfect for summer.  

monday must haves - pt 2

Monday!?! So soon!?!? Those weekends just fly off the shelf these days, don't they?  I hope you had a great weekend celebrating mom or being celebrated as a mom! I know Mother's Day weekend is always a favorite of mine.  It's kind of sad it's over already!

Today I am continuing my Monday series for May - Monday Must Haves.  (that's a lot of MMMMS!)  I've got a few summer-y pieces that have caught my eye lately that I think you will love to!

one: classic vans (slip on version, love these too!)

I saw a gal sporting some classic white Vans the other day and I LOVED the look! It's so simple and summery - not to mention comfy too!

two: mirrored sunglasses - under $15! (or splurge version!)

Even though these are ultra trendy, I am really digging this look for spring and summer.

three: striped cotton shirt (or a solid blue version)

This simple top looks like the perfect summer staple. I could see pairing this with denim shorts on hot summer days or with black jeans for a casual summer date night look.

four: scalloped sandals (or high heel version)

I'm pretty obsessed with these sandals.  How could you not be? So cute and a great price too!

five: striped dress 

I'm officially ADDICTED to striped dresses.  It's a sickness!  But you have to see the back of this... it's so stinking cute.

monday must haves

Happy Monday morning to you all!  Can you believe the calendar flipped to May?!?! Who else has a little whiplash from that? It's so funny how we wish for spring for what feels like forever and then BAM, we are half way through it all ready.  I can't complain, I am more than ready to enjoy some sunny and warm weather this month and of course to get summer underway!  My kids only have 6 more weeks of school left - which is completely boggling my mind right now.

I am kicking off a new Monday series for May this week - we had a lot of fun with the March/April Monday series "5 ways to wear..." and I think thought I would keep up the Monday series thing going.

I think we can all agree that Monday's are hard... especially once the weather warms and summer and spring weekends are so jam packed full of fun.  Why over complicate them?  Each Monday I will be breaking down my current must-haves or items that I am crushing on lately.  Super easy... and hopefully a little glimpse into how I am planning out my warm weather wardrobe (or dream of doing so at least!).

Here are five things that I am SUPER crushing on this week....

one: off the shoulder dress (save, splurge or just right)

I'm a little intimidated by this trend but this dress seems so approachable.  Or I love this top version too!

two: espadrille wedges (save, splurge or just right)

These have been on my wishlist for over a year. I seriously need to just pull the trigger.

three: drawstring tote (save, splurge or just right)

I need a new handbag like I need a hole in the head right now. But this!?! So gorgeous!

four: white eyelet top (save, splurge or just right)

This is the spring vibe I am going for.  Can't you just feel the sunshine, sand, waves, cold beer vibe from this top?

five: birkenstocks (save, splurge or just right)

Should I or shouldn't I? I just can't decide on the birkenstock front.  But they seem so comfy and cool lately.  So seriously, should I? Have you?
