my everyday style: grey obsession!

For the longest time I had an absolute obsession with grey sweaters... I swear at one point I pretty much only owned one color of sweater. There is just something about a grey sweater isn't there!? It can be casual or dressy or anywhere in between and they always seem a little warmer and cozier than the others.  So to make sure my closet was a little more balanced I stopped buying grey sweaters.  Even if I saw one I totally loved I passed on it - or went for it in another color.  Curious how that ended up? Now I have WAY too many cream/white sweaters.  So that problem fixed itself... or not (haha!).  Of course then I realized I had very few grey sweaters even though I loved them so much. So now the pendulum swings back.

This grey sweater was LOVE at first sight... I'm always a sucker for flowy sweaters so I pretty much knew it was coming home with me the minute I saw it. I love that this one is flowy but not bulky, so it's still flattering while also being crazy comfortable.  For reference I am wearing a small... I probably could have gone down to an extra small if I wanted it a little shorter.  Paired with my favorite jeans and some ankle boots and this SUPER EASY outfit is set to walk out the door. These ankle boots are sadly old (but not sad in that I still LOVE them after multiple seasons)... I found similar options here and here.  Seriously, get yourself a beige-y/taupe-ish pair of ankle boots. I wear these all the time. They are the perfect neutral.
