I always get SO, SO many questions about this coat every time I wear it on Instagram stories (and trust me, it gets a lot of wear!). It's a bit of a splurge but I think it's 100% worth the splurge. I love the quilted details, the tie waist is super flattering and the gold details dress it up perfectly. Plus it's one of those pieces that I will just own forever - buying quality pieces like this one always pay you back in longevity. And this one will, no doubt. This is not a winter coat if you live in the Midwest (but would work great if you live in a warmer climate like Texas or Atlanta!) but it is a quite warm option for spring and fall. It's GREAT to layer under like this flannel top I am wearing here (similar) or with sweaters or sweatshirts for added warmth. I wore it almost exclusively on our recent trip to Northern Michigan and last weekend in Chicago it was the only coat I brought and was PERFECT for battling the chilly and Windy City. I'm already living in hats like this pom pom hat and as you saw last week, the UGG boots have formally been brought out for the season as well. Anything I can do to stay warm and sane for the next five months!
