my everyday style: vacation packing prep with Nordstrom!

Hands raised... who has some summer travel coming up? We are doing a trip for the week of Fourth of July this summer and I can NOT wait for some serious R&R oceanside with my family. We have absolutely no plans set up for our week away except eat as much seafood as possible, catch the sunset all seven nights and spend as much quality family time together as possible. In one word our trip is going to be super CHILL. No expectations, no plans... just quality family time by the water. With that in mind my packing list is following in suit. I'm planning on packing a super minimal suitcase with versatile pieces that I can wear and re-wear all week.

Today I'm partnering with Nordstrom to feature a few of the pieces I will be packing for this super chill vacation. I'm thinking simple dresses (like this red one I am wearing or I love this t-shirt dress too), tanks that will keep me cool (I love this eyelet one and these are my go-to), a few choice swimsuits (I love this striped one and I own and love this one too!) and a few pairs of shorts (this pair is my current favorite). Of course I can't forget to throw in a fun bag for dinners out too, this circle bag is nice and lightweight and so fun to carry! I will definitely be recreating this entire look on vacation. This dress is so lightweight and airy is PERFECT for hot and humid summer days and these sandals have been a staple since the weather has warmed. They simply go with everything - so they are great to pack for a week away!
