I recently realized that my home needed some serious sprucing up for spring! After I took down Christmas decorations I haven't really made any changes around the house (how does that feel like just a few weeks ago when it was really months ago!? Scary!). After a glorious spring break in Florida I am craving blues, creamy whites and soft beiges... anything that reminds me of sand, vibrant blue water and bright sunshine. So when Gordman's asked if I'd like to shop their store to update my home for spring I jumped at the chance! If you remember over the holidays I worked with Gordman's to update my mantel for Christmas (seen here) - and since all those decorations came down the mantel was looking a little blank and sad. Since Gordman's is constantly getting new arrivals (once a week at least!) I knew they would have plenty to update my mantel for spring.
If you've never been to a Gordman's you need to check out their website to find one near you! Gordman's mission is to thrill every guest with fun finds and exciting deals throughout the store. There's no need to hunt for bargains at Gordman's - treasures are always in store with exceptional style at competitive prices everyday. In fact, they are so committed to offering the best price that they have a Lowest Price Guarantee. If a shopper finds a lower price at another retailer, simply bring in the ad, website or receipt and they will price match AND give you a $5 git card as well.
Like I mentioned I wanted to infuse a coastal-cool/modern-beachy look to my living room mantel and I was thrilled when I found these gorgeous pottery vases for less than $20 each - the small ones were only $6.99 - I mean, such a good deal! The throw pillows were all on sale for $11 which is a steal because they are gorgeous in person. The big tobacco baskets were under $30 each and I had been looking for something similar for a while - they are a perfect pop of texture to the space. The benches in front of the fireplace were only $39.99 and the huge galvanized bin for extra pillows and blankets was only $29.99. I was, as usual, completely thrilled with the prices and I think it really came together nicely. Finally that piece of my home is complete and I love that when I spend time in the room I feel at least one step closer to the beach. (please note that the ceramics, baskets, stools and pillows were given to me by Gordman's)
