Who else is ready to show 2017 who is boss?!!? I, like many, just love the fresh start that the New Year brings. When it comes to setting goals or resolutions for the year I tend to be wary of setting them and then forgetting them. I can't be alone when I say it doesn't take long for those lofty goals to come crashing down. So this year I am working on setting super ATTAINABLE goals that will still have an impact on my health and well being for the year. But that won't make me feel like a complete failure because I can't live up to them. Of course the first goal is fitness oriented. This year I am setting the goal to work out 3 times a week. Three is an ultra attainable goal and won't leave me in a huge guilt trip for not finding the time to get moving every day of the week - hey, this mama is a busy lady! It's the perfect middle ground.
The key piece to any fitness goal is fresh workout apparel. I'm serious, there is something about some new fitness duds that make waking up and working out on these cold winter days so much more bearable. A big thanks to Gordmans who has already gotten me off the right foot with this head to toe look today. You can shop Gordmans for all your fitness needs and get top name brands like Nike and New Balance that I am wearing here - for major discounts. My sports bra by Nike was only $9.99, the capris were $14.99 and these awesome New Balance sneakers were under $50! Those are some really great prices! Head to your local store to check out the full selection and be sure to stop by on January 14 for an in-store only event where they will be offering deep discounts, like $6.99 fleece jackets and a chance to win an iTouch Watch.
Other goals for 2016?? I have a few other small ones like regular date nights, read more books instead of endless Instagram scrolling sessions, and limit wine to the weekends. They seem simple enough... right!?!? What are some of your simple but impactful New Years resolutions? I would love to know!
