With my son leaving for college this fall we are trying to squeeze in some fun family activities this summer before he's gone. On my family bucket list for the summer is a family movie night. We are going to introduce the kids to some fun classics from the 90s like Jerry McGuire, Dumb and Dumber and Good Will Hunting. They just don't make movies like these anymore!
It's so easy to quickly order all the movie snacks that my kids (okay, and me too!) love. I quickly opened the Walmart app and used my Walmart+ membership to get FREE store to home delivery (orders over $35, restrictions apply) at the time that worked best for me. I stocked up on plenty of movie candy and popcorn to spoil the kids. We have owned and loved our Whirly Pop for years (I think it was a wedding present!) and it makes popping popcorn so quick on the stovetop. The kids really got a kick out of these adorable individual popcorn boxes for serving the popcorn. And this huge woven serving tray made it so easy to layout all the snacks.
Our family home movie night was made even easier since a Paramount+ subscription (Paramount+ essential plan only. Separate registration is required) is included in my Walmart+ membership at no extra cost so we had a great selection of movies for the evening. In addition to Paramount+ and free home delivery of groceries (orders over $35, restrictions apply) there are some other great benefits to my Walmart+ membership like discounts at over 14k participating fuel stations nationwide (see terms and conditions). You can sign up for a FREE 30-day trial membership now and see all the benefits for yourself!
I polled you all on what classic movies we should watch as a family and you had so many fun suggestions. These were the top recommendations: Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Back to the Future, Good Will Hunting - we have our work cut out for us!
