my everyday style: a wintry mix!

With Christmas over, winter has lost some, or let's be real, MOST of it's charm. It's all fun and games getting bundled up in coats, mittens, hats and boots with Christmas on the horizon. But when it's over, winter quickly becomes the guest that has overstayed it's welcome.

But we must carry on! Or at least those of us here in the Midwest, because this snowy and cold party isn't over for another few months and we have to stay warm and (hopefully) stylish until the bitter (cold) end. Thank goodness for cute Hunter boots, bright red coats and cozy socks. I got these socks for Christmas and BOY are they warm... the same exact pair is still available in black - so I linked to some similars below. Hunter boots aren't warm enough on their own this time of year - it was raining and they are so cute - so they were perfect with socks. These socks are wool and incredibly warm and somehow not itchy at all. Which I feel like is super rare.
