Today I am styling two pairs of black jeans. First up is this skinny pair with distressed knees, if you aren't into distressed jeans THIS PAIR is similar with no distressing. I own both pairs and love them both. Then I am styling up this straight cropped pair. I've raved about this pair before but let me rave again. They are stretchy and flattering while still giving that "mom jean" vibe that is so popular right now. I really love them and find them to be my most comfortable pair of jeans lately. Please note: BOTH JEANS ARE TRUE TO SIZE. Go with your usually size in both! I did! For easy reference the skinny pair is on the LEFT below and the straight crop pair are on the right below. I think both pairs can easily be interchanged - so if you prefer one style over the other, just choose what you like best.
Let's take a look at the outfits!

Outfit 1 (left)
I love wearing a denim jacket with black jeans. It's a favorite combo of mine for sure. Here I layered it with a simple cashmere sweater and added flats for a pulled together but casual look.
Outfit 2 (right)
I love going a little sportier and casual with black jeans from time to time too. A leopard sweatshirt and sneakers are a fun casual mom on the go look.

Outfit 3 (left)
Pairing camo and a utility jacket with black jeans is another mom-friendly look for sitting sidelines or weekends of running errands.
Outfit 4 (right)
I just LOVE an all black look. It's SO easy to pull together and I always feel extra fierce and confident when I wear all black.

Outfit 5 (left)
If you don't love the leggings-as-pants trend - just swap the leggings for black skinny jeans! I love this look with an oversized sweater and leopard mules.
Outfit 6 (right)
You can go ultra classic and timeless with black jeans too. I love them paired with a chambray top, loafers and a trench coat for an ultra classic look. Plus I added a little headband for a pop of fun. How are we feeling about the headband trend? I'm really loving it while also not feeling 100% confident about stepping out in a headband. So mixed feelings (kind of like the first time I tried skinny jeans 12 years ago!?!) but overall I like it.
