Let's take a look at the Fourth of July outfit inspiration I came up with... remember the point of the 6 Ways To Style series is to take items you already own and love in your closet and mix and match them into outfits you've never tried before. It's a fun easy to get creative with items you already own and a great way to remind yourself that you don't always need new clothes to have fresh outfits. You know? We can hopefully all agree that this top was absolutely made for the Fourth! I absolutely love it and it's for sure going to get some wear over the holiday week. I love it with white shorts and sneakers for a mom-on-the-go look. I know kids and family activities on the Fourth can get really nutty - so this is perfect for doing ALL the things. If you aren't into the white shorts - you can easily swap for white jeans or a white denim skirt.
Outfit Two (above)
Sometimes a really thing white shirt is just as cool as a tank top - you know? It's breezy and keeps your skin shaded. It's also perfect for early morning parades or if we happen to have cooler weather for the Fourth. I love that a white blouse is a feminine touch when patriotic style tends to be preppy and bold. Paired with a belt bag it's perfect for a day on the go with family activities.
Outfit Three (above)
A striped dress is one of my all time favorite summer staples so it's no surprise it's going to get some wear over the holiday week. Plus it's comfortable and cool for hot days. I love the dress paired with these sneakers and a straw bag. For an extra touch I added a little bandana - I mean you have to have fun with these looks a little, you know?

I'll be honest a MAJORITY of my time around the Fourth is centered on the beach and the pool. It's my favorite way to spend any summer day and the days before and after the Fourth are the best to get away from it all near water (even if that means a $20 plastic pool in the backyard and a hose!). I love this suit, its really comfortable and flattering and easy to swim in too. The bandana in my hair is a fun pop of color and great for keeping your hair out of your face outside.
Outfit Five (above)
Shop the pieces: striped tank, denim jacket (I just bought this and I am so obsessed!), shorts (or similar less expensive), sandals, similar circle bag
I never go any where without an extra layer in the summer it seems (dang, that air conditioning gets cold!) and a denim jacket is about as all American as it gets! I love it paired with classics like white denim shorts (or swap for white jeans or a white skirt) and gold sandals. It's easy to recreate and so classic.

Graphic tees are so fun for the holiday because they are a little carefree and whimsical, which is just whole vibe of the Fourth, you know? It's just FUN.
