my everyday style: camel and stripes!

There's no combination as classic as camel and stripes. It's timeless and oh so easy to wear... which is perfect for this late winter time of year where NOTHING seems like the right thing to wear. Sick of sweaters and boots from three straight months of wearing them and craving something that feels a little more "fresh" while it's still cold out it 100% natural this time of year. It hits me like clockwork come late February and lasts well into March where the weather is still cold and mostly unpredictable.

If it's warmer where you live you could easily ditch the wool coat (mine is sold out but this style or this style is similar) and swap it instead for a trench coat or utility jacket which also makes this outfit incredibly versatile no matter where you live.  Stripes are the ULTIMATE seasonal transition piece... they are incredibly easy to wear now but also definitely hint at spring. This distressed stripe top is a fun variation on the classic. It has some distressing on the hems and a few small holes in the top (don't worry - not in weird places!) that give it a fun and edgy vibe. Paired with some ankle jeans and black flats it's a simple outfit combination that works now AND as the weather warms - which is my goal for transitioning my wardrobe right now.
