As predicted these velvet pants carried me right through the holiday season. I wore them and wore them again and never even got sick of them! I wore this outfit for Christmas and was warm and comfy the whole day (even including nearly 6 hours in the car). The shoes weren't exactly seasonally appropriate but I am dead sick of boots and for the car they slip on and off easily (I pack cozy socks in my purse like an old lady to stay comfy for the trip!).
I hope you had a great holiday season... true to form it flew by and now I can hardly believe we are in 2014. I love a fresh start and I have a feeling 2014 is going to be a great year! Although in some ways it seems impossible to beat 2013. You never want to think that one of your best years is behind you (shed a tear) but 2013 was so great I still have to pinch myself. 2014 will no doubt have it's trials and joys like all the years before... I'm ready to dig in and see what it holds!
