my outfit: apres sun!

What do you need after a day in the sun... a cold beer? some aloe? a simple outfit? I'll take all three.  And did in fact!

I'm running a bit behind here... but these are my Memorial Day outfit photos. The day started out in this outfit - pretty much to a tee. But by the end of the day my clothes were DONE from a day at the pool (bleck!).  So I slipped this maxi skirt on as a dress. It was simple and comfortable and cool.  Then we grilled out and had some nice cold beers.  What more can gal-Memorial ask for? (this would have been a perfect  'day in the sun outfit' too!)

Besides the eternal banishment of tan lines?

It was an amazing day... and most of all I'm just so thankful that summer is finally here.  In all of it's glory.

LOVE it when skirts become dresses - skesses or dirts??! Hehe Great look, Jill.

Mmm, a cold beer sounds perfect right now, especially with 95F degree afternoons here in Texas!

Love that you turned that skirt into a dress - was it the same maxi skirt you showed last week? Two seriously great looks! May have to work it into my June budget. :) I'm a big fan!
