2011 Trend Predictions...

It's always fun to try and gaze into the future and theorize about upcoming trends and styles. Polyvore is hosting a contest to predict the trends of 2011... of course I made sure that mine are super-practical and trends that I would invest in and wear myself. (and psst... like what you see??? In my usual form, all items are UNDER $100!)

Here's my entries:
Modern Hippie Chic

Modern Hippie Chic by Jill GG featuring plastic sunglasses
prima ballerina inspired...

prima ballerina inspired... by Jill GG featuring ballerina flats shoes
the golden age

the golden age by Jill GG featuring gold earrings

What would you say are going to be the trends of 2011? How do you feel about these trends?

Love them all. Especially the ballerina-inspired one. That skirt is perfection.

Great predictions! Not sure if I can get back into the bell bottoms/wide leg jeans though. LOL I'm so stuck on the skinnies still. LOL :)

I can't predict, but I'm happy to know I'm sorta on-trend - I just purchased a gold Michael Kors bag that I LOVE!

Love these! Totally agreed! Been seeing ballerina everywhere since Black Swan came out, and the trend of super bells coming back certainly lends itself to modern hippie. And you can never go wrong with gold!

I love the modern hippie! As a mom of two (who JUST had a baby) the loose fitting, vintage style is just what I need!

the first is definitely my favorite, but you did a great job on your predictions! i would wear anything in the first 2, but i've never really been able to get on board with gold; although, that top & i would get along quite nicely!

good luck on the contest!

I love the prima ballerina look! Longer (just not mini) pleated skirts are on my spring wishlist! Something so classic & feminine about them, and I'm excited for a trend that is office appropriate! Love the black one you posted!
