hit the books: BACK TO BASICS!

Today is part one in a three part series of getting your wardrobe "back to school" ready... whether you are really hitting the books or not! Fall is a great transition time to get your closet in tip-top shape! Take this challenge with me!

I hope you enjoy the video! Although I just realized I forgot to put make-up on at all yesterday (when I filmed this)... oh, the life of a mom! The shame!

very fun little video. I have purged my closet away down to almost nothing. I am so ready for the next step!

Love your videos - they seem so personal! I'm about to start purging my closet once it gets closer to time to transition into my warmer clothes (not for at least another month around here!).

Love your videos~ this one is perfect since I'm about to start a new, more professional job. You've inspired me to whip my closet into shape! Now... Will you be posting anything about incorporating new fall trends into our cleaner closets?

annie - YES! next up we will go over taking inventory, finding inspiration, making a list and executing it!

dmoms - stay tuned next week for the next steps!

Ok, I feel like I know you! Love your video today. You are so right -- I went from working as a full time attorney in the office to a part-time, work from home mom-ttorney, and my closer is all over the map. Thanks for the encouragement to get my closet back in order. Can't wait for the next installment!

This video was great--and just what I needed to get going on getting my closet back in shape. Last summer I was just freshly post-baby and all my clothes reflected it, so I struggled all THIS summer with finding stuff to wear. Hopefully NEXT summer, I'll be in better shape once I get myself organized...

This is so perfect Jill! I just read Nina Garcia's book, "The Style Strategy" and went through some major purging! I put everything in a large plastic tub and I think I'll store it for a while and if after a few weeks/months I don't miss anything, I am making a big trip to Buffalo Exchange! I cannot wait for step two! Thanks!
