Valentine's gift guide!

Valentine's is hands down one of my favorite holidays! I love that it's low-key but also high on FUN. I love spoiling my kiddos with some small gifts and treats that day... and of course, indulging in some heart-shaped pizza is the best.  Whether you spoil your loved one, your gal pals, your kiddos or YOURSELF make sure you do it in style. I know my daughter would adore this heart pillow or PINK letter board for her room.  I have my eye on those lips sleep bottoms and the "love" necklace is so pretty. I've also included two of my favorite splurge worthy pieces: this candle and these champagne gummy bears!   I loved the book The Course of Love and will probably re-read it again soon.  How cute would this mug set be for newlyweds? I am so incredibly thankful that February is here!  Not only is it the month of looooovvvve, but it means we are one month closer to spring.  I am so ready for some sunshine.  In the meantime, these fun pink and red pieces are a little slice of sunshine in this gloomy winter.  Any of these pieces would be a great Valentine's gifts to friends, sisters, or let's be honest, to yourself!

Happy February!  Who else is absolutely thrilled to be just THIS much closer to spring?!?!

Valentine's Day is on the horizon and I have to be honest, while the holiday sometimes gets a bad rap - it's one of my favorites.  For a lot of reasons.  After a long and cold January a little love fest put smack dab in the middle of February is always a welcome respite.  I love spoiling my kiddos and husband and let's be honest... the candy situation is ideal for this sweet-tooth gal.

I like to make sure there is plenty of candy, cupcakes and other treats in the house and then have a fun family dinner planned.  This year I think we may do fondue and board games - doesn't that sound like the perfect winter evening?  Whether you are hanging out with a special someone, with your gal pals, or your kids - it's always fun to make the night special in big or small ways.

Love is in the air as Valentine's Day approaches!  It is pretty much my number one favorite holiday... I just love all the red and pink flying around, the fun and whimsical nature of the holiday, the candy (duh!) and the excuse to love on the ones in your life (and perhaps splurge a little on yourself as well!). If there were no Valentine's Day, February would be the doldrums for sure!
