I love pulling outfits together for little ones... and something about spring makes me think of babies (I'm sure nature is somehow involved with that). But these adorable outfits will have your babes looking sweet as can be this spring.
There is something just too cute about a little tyke in a one piece suit. I think it's the fact that you can only do it while they are small.
This guy is ready to hit the boardwalk for some strolling and some ice cream. Haaaandsome!
I adore these mary jane style Robeez. My kids wore these shoes as long as I could squeeze their feet in them. Best shoes EVER for kiddos.
Wouldn't this outfit be adorable for baby pictures? I love the vest (does it come in my size???). My niece has these exact sunglasses and they are even cuter in person!
Do you have any sweet little ones to buy for this spring?

what to wear: Spring Break!
I have been dreaming for weeks of a spring break vacation - I'm keeping my fingers we can find a cheap place to stay in Florida. Until then... let's dream about what we'll wear, right!?!?
Here are some family looks for a spring break on the Gulf shores.... ahhhh...
Will you be heading any where warmer for this spring break?

what to wear: Old Navy!
Old Navy can often be a dark horse in the clothing arena... I often look to Old Navy for staples for the whole family and Old Navy never disappoints with flashes of trendy items here and there. Plus, as a mom, there are not many stores where I can pick up items for each member of the family all in one place!
Here's some fun outfits I compiled for the whole family... all with Old Navy items!
I am already dreaming of spring... can you tell?
I am loving this relaxed jacket for men... a great addition to any guy's wardrobe!
And how can you pass up a tulle skirt for little girls these days... so cute! (I wish I were 6 again!)
What boy doesn't love to pretend to be Superman?
Do you shop at Old Navy?

what to wear: lil ones!
I'm going to try out something new and hopefully you all like it as much as I do... let me know, k? I've been throwing around the idea of posting on kids "stuff", seeing as I am a mom... but it's a hard decision for me. One, because I don't know if it's interesting to you all and two, because this blog is sometimes my escape from 'all kids all the time.'
But I think we can all agree that kids clothes have the corner on CUTE these days... so at least we can ohhhh and ahhhh together on that, right?
So here is what to wear for the lil ones... Today I've made outfits for a toddler girl and toddler boy, because that's the age of my kids, let me know what the ages of your kids are and in the future I'll try to mix in other age groups!
~~~
I just adore these grey skinny jeans for boys... they are tough and cute at the same time and the playful hat definitely keeps it youthful and fun!
I admit that from time to time I dress my son in a little outfit that I wish my husband would wear (ha, true confession, huh?). This antler sweater is a perfect example, I love it's rough and tough feel. On a miniature body it's irresistible! (And the madras slip ons are to die for, my husband would, sadly, never wear these.)
Let's move on to the little ladies, shall we? I don't know if I made this outfit with my daughter in mind or me! I love the drop waist top and skinny jeans (hmmmm... wonder if they have either of those in my size) and the mocs pretty much seal the whole deal, no?
Get an early start on spring with this look... still warm enough for the current temps but definitely forward thinking. I like the idea of layering socks over tights (the inspiration is Two Ellie's little sweetie... isn't she a doll?). And I love the idea of yellow shoes, kids can just get away with more in my opinion.
So there is my first official kids outfit post... enjoy! And HAPPY WEEKEND! We've got a busy one, but whatever you do stay warm... it's freezing here!
shopping guide: {inspired baby}
(1)
This adorable doll bucks the trends of plastic dolls with plastic parts. I love her chic little outfit and Old Navy actually carries clothing for your little girl to compliment her dolls outfit! Adorable! (Old Navy, $12.50)
(2)
Blocks like these will stay in the family for a long time... lovingly made and adorable for a boy or girl. These would make a great stocking stuffer! (Etsy, Lily and Lou, $32)
(3)
I adore this personalized music box... babies have a penchant for tinkling music. Mine did at least... this would be a great little song box for nap time or while rocking your baby. I love that you can personalize it with your child's name and birthday as well. It also comes in blue and green. (Giggle, $60)
(4)
This plush elephant is soft and sweet. Perfect for a first little "lovie" for a little boy. (Etsy, ButterCupBloom, $28)
February Finds... 14!
I am SO excited about today's "find"! I just found these yesterday and it was all I could do to not buy every single one of them in the store!
If you have a baby on the way or know someone that has a baby on the way - this is the most PERFECT gift you can imagine! They are Aden + Anais muslin baby wraps. They are similar to the classic flannel "receiving" blankets. But oh, so, so, so soft and have the most unique color and pattern combinations. I mentioned before how when my kid were babies I always hated having the same thing that other moms had... I wanted unique products that were modern and fun. But not so cheesy, like baby stuff easily can be.
Here are some of my favorite designs... colors...
Green & Brown...
Eggplant & Grey...
Do you know someone that would just love these??? I bought one for my sister in law that is having a little one soon - but I was tempted to keep it for my own daughter!
oh, baby!!!
I'm not really in the market for baby "gear" any more... (thank goodness) but if I was I have to say that babyGap is rockin' it with some really unique styles! (I always secretly hated showing up to the park with the same stroller as twenty other moms... you?)
$, Floral Hotsling, $49.99 (from $60.00)
You'll be a hot mama in this Hotsling!
$$, Maclaren Volo Stroller, $115.00
The Maclaren Volo is nothing new in the stroller world, in my opinion it is the single greatest and most versatile stroller you can own, but they sure didn't have these fun colors when I bought one though! This yellow is so great for a girl or a boy!
$$, Emily Pewter Diaper Bag by Storksak, $175.00
I am a proponent of un-diaper bags. I know they are necessary, but they don't have to be ugly (or free from the hospital). A diaper bag is an investment that will be WORTH IT! You will carry it for a year or more with each baby. So make it a good one!
