Why is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale such a big deal?
This sale happens once a year and what sets it apart is that instead of deep discounts on end of season merchandise it's just the opposite. It's DEEP DISCOUNTS ON NEW ARRIVALS. Tons of new boots, sweaters, coats, jeans, handbags and more are discounted the DAY THEY HIT THE SHELVES. Yep, you read that right! It's unlike any other sale out there - you get to shop all the new fall arrivals at really great prices.
Why I love the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Fall is my FAVORITE season to shop for! Boots, cashmere, handbags and sweaters are not only some of my favorite wardrobe pieces - but they can also be some of the priciest pieces all year (especially compared to the simple tanks and flip flops we've been wearing all summer!). So it's an amazing opportunity to get to shop these pieces ON SALE!
My tips for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:
- Early Access to the sale is KEY! Items sell out super quickly and while there are some restocks over the lifetime of the sale they are never guaranteed. If you want Early Access to the sale you simply need to be a Nordstrom Cardmember. You can find out more information about the card here! Early Access begins July 12 and then access to all shoppers (with or without the card) will begin on July 19.
- Make sure to stop by my blog regularly during the sale. I will be updating my blog with my favorite finds, what I am choosing for my own wardrobe for the sale and also updating out of stock pieces. I will do all the work of combing through the sale for the BEST pieces and I will make sure to highlight them here! You can see my blog posts from last years sale here - it will give you a good idea of what to expect for this year's sale!
- If you see something you like, snag it! Last year pieces sold out super quickly and yes, there may be some restocks but like I mentioned, it's never guaranteed. There are so many pieces that I still own and love from previous Nordstrom Anniversary Sales. Truly the selection and quality is amazing for the price - your future self will thank you!
