above: Three or four years ago during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I snagged some Sperry Saltwater boots - since then they've been a staple in my "boot wardrobe" (a sad, but necessary way of life in Michigan for the winter - haha!). This pair one-ups my previous pair by being both taller and a little warmer since they are leather and fleece lined. I absolutely adore this monochromatic black pair with gold accents! They are also available in white/pink, grey or a fun and preppy navy/brown combo. They do run a size big, so size down!
above: One of the best investments during the Nordstrom sale year after year is the cashmere pieces at greatly discounted prices. These are pieces you will own for years and years and are SO beautiful! This scarf above is a great example. It's huge and has a really great drape to it and it's available in quite a few colors. It will be GORGEOUS and warm to wear for fall and winter.
above: If you are on a budget and want to add a few new scarves to your fall and winter wardrobe the NSale is the place to do it! This scarf here is only $18! It's nice and thick and super soft! You just can't go wrong with this beauty for fall. It's also available in a few other colors too!
above: I've had my eye out for a really high quality full-length trench for a while now. They are hard to find! When I saw this 3-1 trench I knew I would LOVE it - and I do! You can wear the trench on it's own (like I did above), or there is a quilted vest that buttons in and out (I'm wearing it WITH the vest below) or you can wear the vest on it's own. As a soccer mom that seems to constantly be standing in wet, windy and cold games - this jacket is going to get A LOT of use! I am wearing a small petite here - if you want more length in the sleeves or body go with your usual size but not petite.
above: Jeans are another one of the best investments during the sale - you can find GREAT prices on name brands that rarely go on sale! This pair of jeans are a CLASSIC skinny jeans and perfect for busy moms. I love the mid-rise (super comfortable) and they have just enough stretch to make them crazy comfortable. I'm shocked this pair is still in stock in all sizes - I found them to run true to size. They are a definite winner!
above: I always love a fun pair of mules! These gold studded mules are adorable for fall with skinny jeans and sweaters. The gold details are very on trend for fall and the price on these is GREAT! They are available in quite a few colors and most sizes.
above: This reversible plaid scarf is definitely another favorite from the sale - and at only $18 it's definitely a must-have! It's soft and nice and thick and I love the colors here. I'll be getting plenty of wear out of this all winter!
