good look for less: Rachael

Today's wardrobe consult is for Rachael... she lives in New York City and is just starting out in the professional world.  She wanted some outfits for balmy summer days in the city and some items that could cross into her professional wardrobe as well.  Let's take a look at just a few of the outfits I pulled together for her!

White jeans can make a great foundation for weekend outfits and casual work-wear (depending on the office dress code of course).  When paired with a fun top and blazer the outfit is perfect for brunch with friends and casual meetings!

This outfit is classic summer in the city to me... skinny jeans and a simple top and fun accessories can do it every time!  It's perfect for drinks with friends at your favorite dive or for perusing the farmers market.

Simple staples like white button up tops and cardigans are always office appropriate.  Keep the look from getting boring by adding a fun skirt in a modern cut.

 What says summer more than simple dresses like this one?  I love that this dress has a youthful and flirtatious feel to it, but also a seriousness with the small sleeves and navy color.  Again, this piece can got from office (add a blazer) to weekend (add sandals) easily.
