my everyday style: work it girl, part two!

Last week we chatted about simplifying your work wardrobe here on the blog - if you missed that post, be sure to check it out!.  When it comes to getting dressed for the office, for work trips, for business meetings or speaking engagements - the stakes are high.  We want to look our absolute best - but we don't always have a ton of time or money to be putting together outfits.  We want simple and beautiful and professional.  The best way to accomplish all this in one easy step is to go for a dress.  The dress I featured last week was trendy and modern and today I am showing off a more classic and conservative look.

Nordstrom has you covered for all your workwear needs.  You can visit their workwear boutique and search by style and by price and I love the under $100 section where you can search for tons of budget friendly AND office friendly options.

I absolutely love this navy wrap dress.  It's a very flattering and conservative silhouette that is perfect for the office or work events.  I love the long sleeve and knee length cut and the best thing about a navy dress is that it's totally season-less.  This dress is perfect for spring, but would work all summer and into fall as well.  Here I paired it with grey accessories, but navy is such a neutral palette that it would work with brown, leopard or black accessories as well.
