10 of 30... moving right along.

This outfit is neither a yay or a nay. It's more of an, well a, um, it's okay. I have to tell you that I love, love, love this silk blazer from JCrew. It was regularly like $100 and I snagged it for $19.99 +30% off. Whatever the math is on that... my husband could tell me in a wink. I just know that means "cheap". And it's silk! An it's JCrew! And it's grey!

And unfortunately it also seems to look better on a hanger than on me. Or I just can't get into the vibe of it or something. Whaddya say?

Is it just me? Is it the blazer? Is it both of us together?

So that is exactly why I included it in the Challenge... I thought I would get some good practice. So I guess whether you (or I) like it or not... we still will have to hang out with it for a bit. We'll see how it goes I suppose!

I think it looks great! Maybe you could remove the drawstring from the bottom, it might make it hang a little better (or in a more familiar way). I had a jacket that had a drawstring on the bottom like that, I never used the drawstring and just removing it made a world of difference.

What a terrific buy! I love the jacket but think it hides your (gorgeous) figure. Maybe you could try belting over it? Or leaving the jacket open with a belted shirt underneath?

I think you always look pretty chic, but I agree with the other commenters--try untying the drawstring. Great buy!

I think it's a great piece! And I love the layered bracelets with it. Looking forward to seeing how you style it later on.

I love the color and fabric of the jacket. What if you tried playing with it a little to change it up? Maybe removing the bottom drawstring and the middle tie? Then roll the sleeves to 3/4 length and add a belt? Or leave the belt off and treat it more like a shrug?

I love the color of the jacket! I agree with the belting suggestion--something to give a little more definition around the waist, maybe?

Oooh... that was a great bargain. I think you should try belting it at the waist to give it more shape.

Because you look so great and you paired it up with the boots (always a quick fashion winner) You can pull it off. I'm taking the suggestions you got though and buyin' a belt to help out the shirt I love the fabric, color, and price (etc.) of in my closet. Can't wait to wear it now! Thanks for sharin'!

You always look great, but what about adding a belt? I agree with most of the other commenters... Seems like adding some shape would be a good option! (So jealous of your great buy, by the way!)
