Who is ready for holiday party season!?!? Hand raised! This girl! I love a good holiday party... the drinks, the laughs, the twinkle lights... and of course, all the delicious food! There is so much to love about the holiday season and for me, holiday gatherings are one of them.
Today I am partnering with Evereve to bring you major wardrobe inspiration for all your holiday gatherings. I usually have a few 'dressier' events on the calendar this time of year but the majority of the events I attend are more casual. So today I am bringing you TWO looks with that inspiration in mind. First I've got a gorgeous lace skirt paired with a subtly sparkly top and a moto jacket. It's equal parts festive and comfortable as well. I have the perfect party in mind for this jazzy look next month! Then for my more casual events this year I chose a warm sweater with a bit of lace peeking out paired with a super dark rinse pair of jeans. Embroidery is a super hot trend right now and I love that these embroidered mules go with both dressy and casual looks. This is the perfect outfit for my Christmas girls night or our book club Christmas event.
When I start planning my outfits for holiday events I do it excitedly (sparkles, lace, velvet!) but practically too. I look for a good balance of festive and comfortable pieces that mix and match easily with the rest of my wardrobe. No one wants that one top you can only wear one time in their closet. I just LOVE stopping by my local Evereve shop where all the sales gals instantly feel like your new bffs. They always help me fill my fitting room with pieces I love and then add a few extras in for me to try as well to get me out of my comfort zone. I know I've said it before, but their styling advice is unmatched in the retail industry. They are super helpful and fun every time I pop in there. Plus, the BEST part is that they GET the busy mom lifestyle. I always leave feeling so inspired and well dressed on top of it all.
