what to pack: beach trip!

I've got a beach trip planned for later this summer... which I'm sure I'll keep you posted on what I am packing.  But in the meantime, I'm here to lend inspiration for your own beach trip.  Do you have a long weekend scheduled by the water soon? Beach trips are my number one favorite activities in the summer... I can't wait to spend a week on Lake Michigan later this summer.

It is important for me to have my wardrobe be super simple and even minimalist. I pack only a small bag of items that I wear again and again... but mostly I like to be in my bathing suit the whole time with a few fun outfits available for the evenings for dinner or visiting the ice cream shoppe!
