my outfit: 23/30!

30 for 30 Banner

A few nights back I had had one of those "days" with the kids... the never ending 14 hours straight with kids that just won't quit. I had the need to organize something and to organize it good. You know - to blow off some steam. Some people can find solace scrubbing floors (not me... and the floors tell the story). I find solace making order. My husband says I need to find something to "control" - I'll wave that flag, I know I'm a little crazy. I have no problem admitting that after a day of chaos with kids, it's nice to find something I can effectively bring order to.

Any way, this story has a point. A funny one. While I was organizing I was wearing my favorite new pairs of shoes around my closet (never mind I was in my pjs!). My husband had questions as to why I was wearing these nice new shoes (shoes purchased during the challenge, thus OFF LIMITS until it's completion) with my pjs.

And I said, "Well I can't wear them in a real outfit until the Challenge is over."

And he laughed and said "You are like really doing this whole Challenge thing... not just taking the pictures?"

Yes, people. I am really doing this Challenge thing and not just taking the pictures. It may lead me to do crazy things like ruthlessly organize my closet in brand new shoes and pajamas at late hours of the night. It might be making me crazy, but darn it, I'm DOING it!

Today's outfit is fresh from the pool... and fresh, at that. I can't get enough of this sarong. It's so sa-right!

No accessories or anything. Just plain and simple.

Details:
Tank, F21 (similar)
Sarong, Gap (similar)
Sandals, F21 (similar)
