my outfit: 6/30!

30 for 30 Banner

Let's get down to business here. The hardest thing about the 30/30 challenge is not mixing the heck out of thirty pieces, although I may be singing another tune in 20 days or so... no, it's not that. The hardest part is actually just how mundane my outfits seem. I have to be honest... any and all of the outfits I have worn so far are something that I would and do wear on a regular basis (they are MY clothes after all - duh!). But I usually try to filter the best outfits for you all and post those to the blog. Not in some crazy, I'll wear this because I think the readers will like it. No, more in a... "hmmm, this came together well... I'll snap a quick picture" type way. So to post these "regular" outfits is out of sorts for me.

Truth be told, I'm afraid you all are getting bored. Are you getting bored?

Did you notice I switched up the purse again? I just LOVE purses... I could carry a different one each day. This one is SUUUUUPER old... it is Rafe for Target. And if my internet research proves me right... that places this bag circa 2006. Well done Rafe. Well done that I STILL love this $50 bag 4 years later and that it still looks pretty much as good as the day I bought it. This link is old... and it lays out what the offerings were at the time. Mine is the brown one. From a quick scan of those bags, it looks like I should have gotten a few more!

Details:
T-Shirt, Target
Jeans, Forever 21 (similar)
Belt, Gap (similar)
Necklace, Forever 21 (similar)
Sandals, Forever 21 (similar)
Purse, Rafe for Target (similar)

I hear ya, on the mundane outfits. I'm doing the 30 for 30 thing too, and I'm trying to keep it fresh with neat backgrounds for my photos.

I'm not tired of the outfits! I have the same grey shirt from Target and I *love* it!

How do you wear jeans in the summer?!? Pre-kids I wore lots of capris during the summer but now I can't wear anything but shorts. Its all the time outside in the heat I guess.

I like seeing your everyday outfits! I think that you always looks pulled together even with the simple outfits. It is good inspiration for me. I don't have a dress code at work, so it is easy to just wear whatever and not care. I think this will give me some ideas for easy, simple outfits that don't try too hard. :)

Not boring! That's actually one of the things I'm liking about the 30 for 30 - that you get to see what people wear all the time for everyday style. All of your outfits are so cute! I think mixing up the handbags will help too. I also have the same shirt from Target (in that color and like 5 othes, ha!)

I'm not bored, either! I've been keeping up with a lot of the 30 for 30 participants, and it's refreshing, mostly because--truth be told--I don't have much more than 30 pieces in my closet. I like how "honest" the 30/30 challenges makes everyone; it gives a real glimpse into others' outfits and closets, even those everyday outfits that you may think aren't worth posting.

What?? Bored?? No way! Your outfits are never boring & I love seeing the "everyday" things that you wear. You seem so much more "reachable" than so many others than I've seen. Lu.Ving.It!

I'm not bored at all...you are such a stylish dresser so it's really great to see what you call your 'regular' outfits! I always feel like my clothes are so boring but you're really inspiring because you look so great...a few accessories can do wonders for 'boring' clothing!

I love this outfit - I'm not bored at all! I wish I could wear jeans (pants even) but it's just too hot here. I live in the same 4 pair of bermuda shorts and various t-shirts. Summer is a bit boring clothing-wise around here. That's why I look forward to Fall :o)

I'm definitely not bored with your outfits - I love your simple, classic style. You always manage to keep things interesting with your accessories. Keep the outfits coming!

Definitely not bored - I love seeing your outfits :)

I have the Rafe doctor's bag in black and definitely wish I had bought a few of the other ones. It is one of my favorite bags and I have used it to the point of it looking pretty worn!

I love the sleeves on that shirt. They're just a little bit longer and give it less of a t-shirt feel.
