six ways to style: Spanx faux leather leggings!

If you are new around here - my SIX WAYS TO STYLE series is a fun series where I mix and match 6 outfits from one piece of clothing. It's a creative way to make sure I am shopping my closet and getting the most out of the pieces I own. For today's six ways to style I am going to be styling my Spanx faux leather leggings. I have owned these leggings for about 2 years and they are on sale right now in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so I thought it would be a fun time to come up with some cute looks and get some inspiration for fall.

If you like this type of post... be sure to check the archives here! There are lots of great outfit ideas there!

Let's talk about todays looks! These leggings are so easy to dress up or down so there is a mix of casual and more pulled together looks here. I love a wardrobe piece that can be so versatile. These leggings are definitely just that! I find the leggings to run true to size - I'm wearing a size small and they really suck me in just right. I've also heard other bloggers like to size up one - it depends on what suits you best!

Outfit ONE (above)
Leopard is HUGE for fall and it looks like leopard cardigans are going to be the IT piece this season. There were a few options in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that sold out so quickly, but I am hoping for a restock. Otherwise THIS ONE or THIS ONE are similar. These leggings pair perfectly with a leopard cardigantank and flats. It's such an easy look!

Outfit TWO (above)
A tunic sweater and leggings is always a good idea for fall! I love pairing it with mules and a little cross body bag to dress up the look!

Outfit THREE (above)
A cozy shawl (similar or similar shawl) is such a great wardrobe staple. You can wear it now for travel (think overly air-conditioned cars and aiplanes) or later this fall as a scarf or as an extra layer. I love it with these leggings because it's timeless and pulled together without being fussy.

Outfit FOUR (above)
I am not ready for summer to end at all, but cozy fleece pullovers will make the end of summer much more bearable. This one is SO COZY! I love it paired with leggings and sneakers (or similar) for running errands or sitting sidelines at my kids sporting events.

Outfit FIVE (above)
These leggings work perfectly with a moto jacket (or similar) when you pair it with a longer tunic tee or tank (similar). You can never go wrong with classic flats and leggings either - it's practical and chic!

Outfit SIX (above)
Lately I've loved pairing leggings with a denim jacket tied around my waist. It covers the bum and also gives a nice defined waist. Plus when you get cold you have an extra layer on hand. The graphic tee and sneaks go perfectly with these leggings.

Outfit SEVEN - bonus outfit (above)
I couldn't resist a simple leggings, sweatshirt and sneakers combo. It's just SO easy and comfortable! Great for after-hours or weekend wear. Or let's face it, sometimes for a Monday. ;)
