I have a work event to attend tonight with my husband. For which, I am thinking of pulling out the red pants again (you know THE red pants)... but I'm troubled. Are the red pants being pigeon holed as the "going out pants"? (and we all know the "going out pants" of yester-year.)
The only logical next question is this: red pants with black & white or red pants with bold pink (a la Kendi)!?!?
I'm fraught with indecision here... please do chime in!

Wow! Always wanted to be the first one to comment - here I am :) I'd go with the first one, definitely looks more of a going-out outfit. The second option is lovely, but looks more casual to me. Whatever you do, have a good time - that's an order!
First option... more appropriate for the function. Have fun!
I love the pink combo, but I think for the function the black might be better!!! they are both great though!!!!
I agree--the first one seems a bit more appropriate for a work function. Have fun!
Love the lacy top. Outfit #1 is my fave!
I agree, outfit #1 seems more suited for a work function. Save outfit #2 for the next time you go out - in your going out red pants!
Black and white is definitely more work-event appropriate, I think. The pink-and-red is a little more whimsical, better suited for a movie night or an evening on the town. The black and white outfit as a whole looks fabulous, by the way!
First option :)
I would vote for red and pink, which I looove, unless the event is more on the conservative side, the I'd go with red and white, which would let the red take center stage.
Have fun on your night out, pretty girl!
I love the first look. It just looks so classy with the white lace and red pants paired with the neurtral accessories! xo

I love the first outfit! I think I may need some red pants very soon. Enjoy your night out!
Oooh, fun! I would go with the first look for a work event. Glad you are getting a night out!
Wear it with the pink like Kendi. Those pants are so cool!
#1 for tonight and try #2 for a casual day affair.
i agree with most, if not all of the above.
you've picked two great solid outfits, both with different feels!
