Work it Wednesday: Purple Top!

If you receive my newsletter (which you should!) you already got a sneak peek at this Work it Wednesday.
~~~
If you are not familiar with Work it Wednesday, it's where I take one wardrobe piece and show you how to "work it" three ways. It's actually one of the LONGEST RUNNING series' here on GLFL... just a lil' fun fact!
~~~

When purchasing clothing items the number one thing most people want is versatility. No one wants to buy a shirt and only wear it a few times, or worse - once. Everyone can relate to that feeling and it stinks to know you wasted the money on it.

Buying a versatile top with some tasteful (ahem, let me repeat that, tasteful) embellishment, can take you from business formal, to business casual, to a fun girls night out. I'll show you how! This WIW is centered around this top:

(Forever 21, $27.80)

Business Formal...
(Suit, United Colors of Benetton; Belt, Forever 21; Shoes, Donald J Pliner)

Business Casual...
(Khaki's, Gap; Shoes, Nine West; Blazer, Gap)

Girls Night Out...
(Jeans, Forever 21; Boots, Michael Michael Kors; Earrings, Stella & Dot; Belt, Forever 21)

One of my favorite WIW posts yet. Great outfits - until I saw the top on, I wasn't sold on it. But now - definitely. (Great suit, by the way! And I am loving the bangs.)

the 1st makes me miss corporate america...it's tough to wear a hot suit when mopping the floor! definitely loving all 3 though!

*is that the new cut and color? looks amazing!*

Karen, oh I was totally excited just to put the suit on - and it was just for a silly picture! There is nothing like a great suit. Makes you feel like a million bucks instatntly! And yes, it's a new "do" - I'm having issues with it. ha!

Jill - I LOVE the new hair style. It looks really great on you! What are your issues with it? I've been thinking about going for a straight cut on my bangs but can't make up my mind. :) You look fantastic!

I really like the versatility of that top! It's too bad it's not available online anymore. Maybe I can dig through the racks at the store...

Milk Tea, bummer, I didn't realize it wasn't available anymore. I did get it a few months back!
