good look for less EXPRESS: Ann!

I recently received an email from Ann. She's a elementary teacher looking to spice up her wardrobe a bit... she falls into the trap that I think a lot of us do. She has the basics: trousers, pencil skirts, button-up tops and cardigans - but needs a way to up the style with these simple and practical pieces! I should add... that even though school is about over for the year, these outfits will work for casual summer events or for back to school in September as well.

I included a few of these pieces in her consult and added a few other pieces that she might not have previously thought of as "First Grade Friendly". Let's take a look at her looks.

I love this first outfit, because the dress is very practical for day time, but it can be easily switched up for weekends too... change out these items for flip flops, sunglasses and an oversized tote and you are ready for a bbq, the farmers market or a picnic in the park!

Working off the basics here like a cardigan and trouser pants... just add some fun and modern accessories and you are all set! Bold accessories in silver and gold are simple statement pieces for this season!

A simple skirt and white t-shirt get dressed up with a bold accessories, fun shoes and a nice handbag. Make your clothes the backdrop for your accessories to keep your looks fresh and modern... and of course, never boring!

Thanks Ann! Happy shopping...
