the 15 minute manicure with Nordstrom!

In the not-so-distant past I was a complete nail salon addict.  Every two weeks or less I would be shelling my money out for the perfect gel mani.  Sweet Jesus those things are addicting!  Then I discovered the Essie Gel Couture nail polishes and now I'm obsessed with them!  Have you tried them yet?

So here's the deal... I've always been a fan of Essie's polish, but these Gel Couture polishes take at-home nails to the next level.  You simply swipe on two coats of color (there are TONS of great colors to choose from!) and then one coat of the topcoat.  These polishes are right out of the gate SO easy to apply.  The brush is the perfect shape (unlike any other I've tried before), the polish goes on smoothly and evenly (which let's be honest, can be a challenge with at-home manis) and they dry in about half the time of normal nail polish.  Those are three big wins in my book.  Another thing I love versus a salon gel mani? This polish comes off with regular nail polish remover.  Bonus!  No soaking needed!

Nordstrom stocks tons of the Essie Gel Couture nail colors (and don't forget the top coat!) and with FREE shipping you won't regret snagging a few of these.  Nordstrom also stocks plenty of other nail goodies that I love for the perfect at home mani like the Deborah Lippmann cuticle remover and cuticle oil - which really go the extra mile towards the salon look at home.

Lately I am loving the super dark "Model Clicks," the cozy gray-ish "Take Me to the Thread" and my go-to is "Sheer Fantasy" which looks like your natural nails but enhanced.  If you love Essie's "Ballet Slippers" then "Fairy Tailor" is almost exactly the same and I just found the perfect holiday red called "Beauty Marked."
