my outfit: on any given day!

Comfy and cozy outfits like this one are finding themselves materializing on my self more and more these days.  The sun and warm weather didn't get the memo so I am still layering and sporting boots many days out of the week.  It doesn't make for great blog fodder, especially when I am all "let's think spring" on the blog and still clearly dressing for winter in real life.   If it's cold where you are still... grab your favorite sweater, a cup of warm tea and the fuzziest boots you own and then basically you and I are twins.

These pictures were taken in the afternoon... but clearly I still had 'sleepy face'.  I would like to see some research on sleepy face. How/when/where and why does it work/happen? What is the average time of it's disappearance on any given days and are there exceptions to the rule on cold and rainy days?  Do you think I could get a Federal grant for my research? This is what keeps me up at night, people (hmmm... perhaps my sleepy face is leading to sleepy face.)  We'll never know unless I get that grant.

This is so cute! This is the kind of outfit I want to wear everyday while it's cold out. Love that big cozy sweater. I sure hope some warm weather gets to you soon! It's finally starting to warm up here, so it can't be far behind for you!

Cute! We've got similar weather, so I like to cozy up like that, too. Yesterday I attempted capris and short sleeves and I was freezing. I wanted to look springy, but the weather wasn't getting the message.
