my outfit: put it in neutral!

Hello kittens... and happy Tuesday to you.  I'm short on words today... likely because I just discovered GREEK on Netflix and my brain is *probably* melting as a result.  I've watched something like 15 episodes in four days... let's not judge, k?

We didn't have a greek system at my college, so I'm totally out of the loop.  Well, ahem, I was.  Now I am referring to my kids as "pledges" and just waiting around for my husband to finally pin me. I me, come on, we've been married for almost 9 years - what is he waiting for?

Is any one up for a mixer this weekend?

I kid, I kid.  (maybe)

For this outfit... I pretty much put together some neutrals and called it good.  I would have loved to pair it with some white jeans or sandals... but Michigan didn't get the memo that it's spring.  Brrrr baby! It's cold out - still!  So boots it is... but, like, they are so last month... but, like, whatever, right!?!? (wow, I am even blogging like a sorority girl... scary!)

I am 2 months in and think I am addicted to Netflix. I watch seasons in one sitting. I think you know you have a problem when someone at work asks you how your weekend was and all you can think of is Casey's love life on Greek and Nancy's drug dealer drama on Weeds! I need to plan some weekend getaways...

Oh my gosh, I don't know what Greek is, but I'm so intrigued to find out! Good thing I have Netflix.
And no judgement from me. I can watch a whole season of a show in 2 days and still get other things accomplished. I'm a TV junkie!
Yeah, I wish I was wearing sandals too. But instead I'm in far too many layers and still cold. :P Cold weather!

Love the jacket! Odd question- is it warm? I had been looking at that jacket on the Tulle site and didnt know if it would be too warm for spring. I'd appreciate your input!

I love the jacket. We had a Greek system at my University, but I'm still clueless.

Hilarious. First you get lavaliered, then pinned. Sure, you could jump straight to pinning, but that only gets you one new piece of jewelry.

I LOVE Greek! (Spoiler) They just aired the series finale a few weeks ago. I loved it and cried like a baby! I will DEFINITELY be watching it again through Netflix!

Netflix will take over your life! My husband did nothing but watch Weeds for like a week!

As an alumna sister of Alpha Phi, I get that Greek is the only exposure a lot of people have to sororities - I definitely don't judge, because no matter where you go there will be people like that on the show, and I think they do a fairly good job of showing both the good and bad parts of being affiliated.

I had a great experience and met some of my best friends through the Greek community, although because my boyfriend wasn't Greek I've never been lavaliered or pinned either!

BTW- I love how lightweight your scarf is! It makes your outfit so much more spring-y.

I really like the scarf. My college didn't have sororities or anything. But, it was nice, and cheap so I didn't mind.

I, like LaurenK, was in a sorority (Kappa Alpha Theta) and it was definitely a highlight of my college years. I'm so sad that people have such a negative stereotype of greek life. Just like any show on television, playing up the drama is what makes it interesting. But it is also what makes it unrealistic.

Hope Spring finds you soon! We're still a few months away in the Rocky Mountains.

I adore your outfit! KY didn't get the Spring Memo either. I sat on bleachers watching my daughter practice soccer this evening and it was 27 degrees!!!

At least you have sunshine even if it's not that warm. Gotta love a good leather jacket and that scarf looks great with it.

Love the ring. I always try to wear rings that size, but they just end up getting in the way during the day.

I loved GREEK. I probably watched the first season 3 times! And Netflix is making rainy weekends a lot happier at my house!

I am an SAI alum and I have never seen Greek but I have sisters that are obsessed with it. They say some things are dead on and some are obviously over dramatized, which is natural for TV. It really was the best part of college so I can understand why a show about it might be addicting. I spent more time with my sisters than just about anyone else.

Anywho, your outfit is cute. Pa hasn't gotten the memo about the weather either, so you aren't alone!

I love GREEK in a crazy obsessed kind of way lol. (Like I cried after the final episode!) I'm so glad other people are finding out about it!
