Being the nerd that I am, I googled "espadrilles" - turns out the word is French from Latin origin. Pronounced "es-pe-dril" - those frenchies, they love the silent letters at the end of words! Also, they are defined as a jute or rope sole with a fabric upper. Ta-da! Your fashion lesson for the day.
For some reason the florals really draw me in... and usually I am not even much of a floral gal.
This pair isn't so "cheap" but it comes in a million of the sweetest colors you could ever want. So, yeah, I had to include them.
Wedge espadrilles in gold? Yes and yes.
These are so sweet they remind me of sorbet. Mmmmm...
Wedge, lace-around-the-ankles, peep-toe espadrille? Yes, yes and yes!
I'll take just about anything in black. Plus, I just love the top-stitch on these!

The gold wedges are super cute!
Of course I love the "not cheap" ones :).
The wrap-around-the-ankle style is super lovely too :)
I love the espadrilles! The gold ones are so much fun! But I have a special request and didn't know where to post it. Sex and the City II came out today and I was wondering if you were going to do a fun S&TC inspired post? Are you a fan?
Brittany, Oh I love SATC! Never thought to do a post on it! I'll brainstorm a bit and see what I can come up with!
I have always gotten thrills out of wearing espadrilles!
I really like the orange ones. Simple but still fun--just what I like. :)
waaaaaay to many to choose from. but the wedges might be stuck in my head for awhile!
I work from home and read your blog everyday...you have inspired me to become an online shopper, anyways, I LOVE these shoes, and last night ran to Target after work- they have some almost identical to the last pair of black ones for $16.99. I almost jumped for joy right there in the aisle! Have a great rest of your day, and I really enjoy reading your blog! :)
