It's been waaay too long since I have thrown a "Fashion Formula" your way, no?

Today we are going to layout the formula for what I think is one of the SIMPLEST and CHICEST looks for spring and summer. The maxi dress. This dress works with all body types and for many different occasions.... they are instant chic!

So without further ado... let's dig in!

(left to right: Ruffle Maxi Dress, Arden B, $69, Drawstring Maxi Dress, Old Navy, $29.50, Knit Dress, Urban Outfitters, $68, Cross Stitch Maxi Dress, Forever 21, $29.80)

I LOVE the maxi dress and hope it never goes out of style! Target has some pretty fierce maxis this season too. Love the F21 pick. Happy weekend, Jill!

Great post! This is exactly how I wear mine...and I am so glad they are still around this summer because they seem like the perfect way to dress an awkward post-baby body...they hide lots!

Love these options...and yes...Target has some really great ones by Liberty of London (somehow my store still has these in stock) right now!

You just reminded me of my giraffe print maxi dress! I need to dig it out of the back of the closet. :) That baby is going to get some serious use this summer!

I love the look of these dresses, but they don't look right on me. Maybe I am just trying on the wrong style. Any suggestions?
